Jakpod findet iPod nicht

Hallo FerFemNemBem,

Dein Programm ist eigentlich genau das, was ich als Ersatz für iTunes gesucht habe und auf meinem Desktop-PC unter Vista funktioniert es auch einwandfrei. Auf meinem Notebook unter ubuntu 7.10 findet jakpod den iPod leider nicht.

Ich benutze:
iPod Photo 60GB,
Jakpod_084_Beta1

Ich habe jakpod mit chmod +x jakpod.sh ausführbar gemacht und mit ./jakpod.sh getartet.

Die iTunes.DB auf dem iPod habe ich von Jakpod auf dem Dektop-PC schreiben lassen und auf dem Notebook unter Linux findet Rhythmbox den iPod und spielt Musik davon.

Es wäre schön, wenn Du mir helfen könntest.

ich glaube ich sollte da mal eine FAQ zu schreiben. Sorry, dass ich das bisher versaeumt hatte.

Unter LINUX habe ich leider nicht wie unter Windows die Moeglichkeit, den iPod einfach automatisch zu erkennen. Daher ist etwas Handarbeit Deinerseits noetig.

Oeffne die Datei "jakpod.properties" mit einem Editor Deiner Wahl und trage unter "configuredIPodLocations=" den Mountpoint Deines iPods ein. In der properties Datei findest Du weitere beschreibende Kommentare.
